Energy Assistance Volunteer (LIEAP)

What?

Many of our senior clients find it difficult to pay for their energy bills because they live on a fixed income. You will assist our senior clients with the application process for LIEAP (Low-Income Energy Assistance Program). Because the application process is somewhat lengthy and confusing, senior clients need help filling it in and mailing.

Volunteers are needed weekdays for a 2-3 hour shift.

Please call Joan at 682-4374.

Food Room Volunteers

What?

We are seeking Food Room helpers to assist hungry Lane County families and individuals at our two locations in Springfield and Eugene. In each Food Room, volunteers help people to select a food box to take with them—volunteers do not need to drive or go to other locations. We really need your help, whether for just a few hours or on a regular basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a cheerful, dedicated group providing assistance to our neighbors in need. No need for prior training. FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT TERRE OLSON AT 747-0221.
