KRVM 91.9 FM is the first public FM station in the state of Oregon. The link to their website is http://www.krvm.org. They have a small paid staff, but rely heavily on the support of their volunteers and member listeners. All specialty program DJ’s are volunteers. There’s a Friends of KRVM group which coordinates volunteer activities, such as hosting a KRVM booth at the Eugene Celebration, etc. Twice a year KRVM has a membership drive to help pay for the expenses of running the station. Any support people can provide to help with the membership drive are very much appreciated. You can contact the general manager, Randy Larson, or the program manager, Ken Martin, at 687-3370. Our membership drive starts April 1st this year. I hope you’ll consider adding KRVM to your list of community groups to volunteer with.
