Services include:
Greeting restraining and stalking order petitioners and providing assistance in completing the necessary forms for obtaining a protective order
Providing accurate information and education regarding the criminal justice system, specifically the restraining and stalking order process
Accompanying petitioners to the court hearing to provide emotional support.
Making referrals, when appropriate, to community resources and for case management through the Family Violence Unit
There is a staff member who supervises volunteers working in the Protective Order Unit. A minimum commitment of 4 hours per week is required. FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CALL ERIN at 682-4523.
