Girl Scouts of Santiam Council is looking for women or men who would be interested in helping girls ages 5-17 who have incarcerated female family members (mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, etc) reconnect with that family member. Two times per month we transport girls from the council area (Benton, Linn, Polk, Marion, Yamhill, and Lincoln Counties) to Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (CCCF) in Wilsonville to do Girl Scout Programming with the incarcerated female. We are looking for volunteers to help with the transportation of the girls to and from the prison one to two times per month. Volunteers also have the opportunity to enter CCCF and help lead the program activities with the girls and CCCF residents. The troop meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 8:45-11:30 AM in Wilsonville.
