Committed Partners for Youth
Volunteer Mentors
- What?
-
Committed Partners For Youth connects youth to their community through mentors who inspire the development of personal identity, healthy relationships and meaningful opportunities.
Committed Partners for Youth is a non-profit mentoring agency servicing in-need youth in the Eugene/Springfield community. We serve youth (ages 7 to 17) through our partnerships with Eugene/Springfield elementary schools, middle schools, social services agencies and the juvenile court system. Four cornerstones form the basis of each CPY mentoring relationship: Commitment, Responsibility, Possibility & Support.
The Fundamental responsiblity of a mentor is a committment to volunteer consistently 10 to 15 hours a month with the same youth for a full year (i.e. usually meeting them one time a week.)
Mentoring is fun! Consider sharing your passions and introducing a youth to new experiences. CPY supports your relationship all year making it very easy to be a mentor.
